Izel Homes designs a newly built villa for a client in Defence Colony.

Rai's for whom this project was undertaken were simple design seekers with a fair idea of what they wanted. This project was excecuted unconventionally by the Izel Homes team.

A lot of sampling and coming up with ideas which could convert their thoughts into a product, reflecting a space they wanted ,was not only a challenge but a process of evolution for both the client and the design team. We doodled, made presentations, sat with embroiders , sourcing materials over a period of 4 months. It was a constant evolution of the old idea ~ the basis of starting the project.

A house becomes home when we put in a little of ourselves in it. This was the very philosphy with which the client approached while doing up her house. We loved the exploration of fabric manipulation , embroidery, hand work to come up with design solutions which put forth her ethos in every space.

The kids wanted dinos, we introduced dinos. The elders wanted simplistic flair with a modernized motifs, we worked with tree of life. Every concept was a detailed workout of the users of the space.
