Izel Homes re-designs the existing space with changed upholstery, curtains and cushions for a client living in Kuwait but owning a house in Delhi as well.

The Oberoi Family has a family home is Chattarpur which needed to be spruced up for the upcoming celebratory event in their house. Having lived almost all their life in Kuwait, a middle eastern country, the clients had a mixed taste of Indian roots and Gulf design feel.

A thorough research on the design sensibility of the Middle East and understanding the space to provide a perfect amalgamation of India with Kuwait. There was a play of golden with subtlety of modernism kept in mind since the space was getting revamped.

A subtle mix of beige, off white and gold was maintained in the upholstery of the sofas. Fabrics picked were worked upon with golden beads delicately thrown around the jacquard design flowing in the curtain. A bit of colour was added to the Sofa by cushions in dabka work. Motifs picked were traditional and classical in an attempt to tie the space down.
